about
Our first love song.

The gilded youth, wet weddings, cheap weather, walking on eggshells.

Filmed in the derelict industrial greenhouse on the outskirts of London in October 2008, Bluebells is in fact a desperate love song. It's tell the tale of gloriously youthful inexperience, bewilderment and a serious passion for YOLK.

lyrics
I went to town but it's always wet weather.

I went up church but it's full of cheap weddings.

I eat bluebells and I always chose the best.

(Wet weddings, cheap weather)

I dig up bush and it's leg sting nettles.

I dig her looks and it's gut flutter pleasure.

Picking bluebells and I do so carefully.

(Gut nettles, sting pleasure)

Chorus

Walking on eggshells, the youth in bloom I smell the smell of sweet bluebells. X 2

I fell in love with you. So whatcha' gonna say, whatcha' gonna do? X 2

Bluebells. Eggshells. Spread youngly far and wide. I'd known, we'd grown, melt amber on our eyes.

With time, we'd bind, tear do turn into butterflies.

Eggs on Sunday and then maybe tears later.

Carving on bark and then smiling feels greater.

I pick bluebells and I do so carefully.

Perhaps Contraption is a genre-bridging musical performance collective.

Formed in 2004 ... more from avant-rock & pyschedelic detritus, we proudly present our latest incarnation;
an astonishing 8 piece art pop, marching band.

We are currently recording our new album with this device.

Our previous 2 recordings concern meticulously mathematic Rock in Opposition & intricate anti-folk. less
